Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP rider Jeremy Van Horebeek finished on the podium on Saturday at MXGP of the Americas, putting his YZ450FM to the test on a first-time motocross track at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. His teammate Romain Febvre struggled with the ruts but found good speed to come seventh overall on a shortened race program.
Kemea Yamaha Official MX Team rider Valentin Guillod crashed lightly in the first moto on Saturday, but suffered a muscle spasm that severely restricted his breathing and was forced to abandon out of the points in the early race. The Swiss rider recovered after a physiotherapy session during the pause to finish 12th in the second moto.
