Team Yamaha Miglio head to Serres in Greece this weekend for the event that marks the halfway point in the 2015 FIM Enduro World Championship.
After a challenging outing at the GP of Portugal, Yamaha Racing's Cristobal Guerrero has his sights set on returning to the Enduro 1 podium in Serres. Delivering the team's first podium result at round two in Spain where he claimed a deserved pair of third place finishes. Guerrero has his sights firmly set on once again scoring top three results.
The determined Spaniard, who led the International Six Days Enduro staged in Serres, Greece back in 2008 before retiring with injury - is focused on putting his WR250F back in contention for a podium result. With conditions expected to mirror those of his training grounds in the southern Spain, Guerrero is a rider to watch in Greece.
Claiming his best result of the season to date at the recent GP of Portugal, Team Yamaha Miglio Racing's Gianluca Martini continues to improve in his debut season of world level competition. Claiming a seventh place result in Enduro 1 on day one in Portugal, the young Italian is now beginning to demonstrate his speed against some of the best enduro riders in the world.
Working hard between rounds to improve his overall fitness required for two physically demanding days of competition, Martini is confident about the weekend ahead.
After his terrific start to the series in Chile and Spain, the GP of Portugal was not so kind for Yamaha France's supported rider Marc Bourgeois. Picking up a troublesome hand injury, the Frenchman battled hard to salvage some much needed championship points. Slipping to fifth overall in the championship standings, Bourgeois seeks to regain some of that ground lost in Portugal.
The FIM Enduro World Championship continues with round four in Serres, Greece on June 6/7.
