Team Yamaha Miglio eye up a successful home race at this weekend's round five of the FIM Enduro World Championship in Rovetta, Italy.
Determined to deliver a strong outing in Rovetta, Cristobal Guerrero and Gianluca Martini enter their team's home race in confident spirits.
After mixed performances last time out at the GP of Greece in Serres, Guerrero is eager to get his Enduro 1 championship campaign back on track. Hampered with small but costly errors, the WR250F rider is focused on putting those mistakes behind him and securing a podium result for his team on their home turf.
Looking forward to this round of the series all year, Italian Gianluca Martini is understandably 'excited' ahead of his home GP. In a race that's close to where he lives, Martini is keen to use his knowledge of the difficult terrain and push hard for top six results. With both family and friends gathering in Rovetta to offer support, Martini wants nothing more than to reward his team's faith in him with two solid performances.
Tying for the runner-up result on day one in Greece, Yamaha France's supported rider Marc Bourgeois currently sits fifth overall in the Enduro 1 point's standings despite nursing a hand injury. Confident he still has the speed to fight for a podium result, Bourgeois will settle for nothing less.
Round five of the FIM Enduro World Championship takes place in Rovetta, Italy on June 20/21.
